Miss Yahaya was born on the 6th of January 1995 in Sokoto state North West Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English language from Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto.

Her stardom has allowed her to travel around Nigeria, advising young women about issues of marginalization, education and political participation.
Earlier this year, she participated in the International Republican Institute (IRI) Women and Youth Political Leadership Academy where she was chosen by her fellow participants as the "shinning star" of the academy. She also serves as an ambassador of MMAWT Legacy Initiative which is a non-profit organisation providing governance with a human face on issues of girl child education, health, juvenile delinquency, prisoner reforms and more.
Amina served as a Senator representing Sokoto state at the Nigeria Children's parliament between 2007-2009. After graduation, she worked briefly as a presenter at an indigenous TV station in Sokoto, encouraging young women to embrace leadership and entrepreneurship.
Miss Yahaya is passionate about issues concerning youth, the girl child, and women, especially in regard to leadership and political participation. She is currently a youth Corp member serving in the FCT.
